There are a few steps involved in order to make this work. First, you need to find out what type of projector you have. There are two types of projectors — LCD and DLP — and they both require different things. So once you know what type of projector you have, follow the steps below!

1) Make sure your HDMI cable works with the input on your projector by testing it with another input on your TV first.

2) Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the corresponding slot in your TV or AV receiver that says "In" or "Input."

 Connect the other end to one of two slots in the back of your universal remote control labeled "In" or "Input. Connect your DVD, Blu-Ray player, cable box or other device to the other slot.

3) Press the "Menu" key on your universal remote control. Look for a "Device" option, then press it. Select "Input," and then choose HDMI from the list.

4) Press the "Home" key and select Apps. Choose Netflix or Hulu or whatever provider you use for movies and TV shows on your TV.
